Kavala, also known as small Monte Carlo as many call it, is located in the north-eastern part of Greece. Kavala is easily accessible from wherever you are coming from, as it is linked with the rest of Greece and Europe with all kinds of transportation.
It is a town which is built amphitheatrically on the sides of the mountain Simvolo and at the same time it is one of the most important ports in the whole Greece. The amazing combination of mountain and sea, the gorgeous beaches, the picturesque old town, the old aqueduct and of course the castle are only some of the signs of the vast history of the town.
The archaeological site of Philippi, the many museums and the various festivals that take place through the whole year are suitable for the lovers of art and history. Follow the steps of Apostle Paul, visit the place where the first European Christian woman was baptized, named Saint Lydia, and get to know the religious character of this town.
We invite you to discover a town rich in history and civilization, to walk in its narrow streets, to swim in its crystal clear waters, to taste fresh fish right next to the sea, to drink local wine or local tsipouro and to try local products, like kourampiedes, honey and syrup sweets. We are waiting for you!
